unruh2525 I’m guessing this is some of Joseph Mlodiks earlier work based on the instrumentation alone. The depth of his recent work as Noctilucant and the truly spectacular House of the Maker make me suspect he’s updated his equipment considerably but this stands easily on its own merits. An enemy of laziness and lethargy, this is electronic music that no one will be dozing off to. There’s some serenity but there’s more menace, tempests and jarring mood shifts. The future of ambient music is in good hands. Favorite track: II.

Brad Abar I love the improvised nature of this recording. I like to see an artist's sketchbook, and this is an audio version of that. Much appreciated, Joseph!

about

This is a collection of the Dark Ambient, Drone, and Noise/Experimental music sessions I posted on my YouTube channel from 2020-2021 All of the music herein was created in an absolutely improvised and sometimes chaotic nature without any beforehand practice or even much thought into what I was doing. As such, the quality of the music and the production of the music itself definitely varies from moment to moment. Either way, those videos got a favorable response back then and I thought it would be interesting to sit down and “master” them to the best of my ability and make them available here on my Bandcamp site. Paying customers will get two videos with the download, but, of course, you can also find the original videos on the Noctilucant YouTube Channel. The cover, an askew slushy snow smile, was taken in the winter of 2020 at about six AM.

All music improvised and recorded from July 2020 to June 2021 by Joseph Mlodik
