'Buried Alive in Mud' is a companion piece to the 'Back to the Mud' album. This 28 minute song features fragments and whole pieces from 'Back to the Mud' that have been twisted and stretched far beyond their original length. The result is an apocalyptic beast of droning, impending horror and unearthly atmospheres not previously explored within Noctilucant's oeuvre. Listening in the dark, with headphones late at night is highly suggested.

This is the first in a planned series of lengthy singles to see release in 2016. These other singles will deviate from the typical Noctilucant formula and explore a vast space terrain and even dive deep into the earth's oceans and journey through nautical territories.
